Senior Software Engineer (Java, Fintech)

TL;DR

Location: Hybrid in Warsaw, Poland. Must be already residing in Warsaw and be eligible to work in Poland

What you will do

• Design and build robust, scalable backend services using Java, Spring, and Kafka.
• Develop and enhance core platform features using Java 17, Kotlin, and Spring Boot.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle from requirement analysis and prototyping to deployment and support.
• Champion engineering culture through clean code, comprehensive testing, and technical ownership.
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to the design of cloud solutions.

Requirements

• 6-8+ years of experience in production-grade Java applications with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Gradle, and Docker.
• Proven experience deploying and maintaining services on cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• 4+ years of experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Excellent working knowledge of SQL and relational databases like PostgreSQL.
• Must be already residing in Warsaw and eligible to work in Poland

Nice to have

• Experience with Kotlin or TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Angular for frontend exposure.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and gRPC.
• Exposure to observability tools like Elastic Stack, Prometheus, and Grafana.
