What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain business-critical payment processing applications using Java.
• Modernize a large-scale banking platform by upgrading frameworks, libraries, and infrastructure.
• Translate functional and regulatory requirements into high-quality software solutions.
• Collaborate with international teams across Poland, France, and Hong Kong.
• Perform code reviews and mentor team members to ensure maintainable solutions.
• Estimate development efforts and plan technical tasks.

Requirements

• 4+ years of commercial software development experience with Java.
• Strong proficiency in Java 17/21 and modern backend development practices.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST APIs, JMS, and Oracle databases.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, and SonarQube.
• Experience working with large-scale enterprise applications.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Nice to have

• Experience with Angular.
• Knowledge of Spring Cloud and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerization.
• Background in banking, payments, or other regulated industries.
• Previous technical leadership or mentoring experience.
