Salesforce Technical Engineering Manager (Energy)

Salary: $150,000 - $180,000

What you will do

• Lead a team of Salesforce developers and administrators while actively contributing to technical design and development.
• Architect and build scalable SaaS solutions using Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components.
• Conduct detailed code reviews to ensure performance, security, and maintainability.
• Drive the full SDLC including deployment processes, CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshooting in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Establish and enforce development standards and coding best practices across the team.
• Evaluate and implement new platform capabilities from Salesforce's annual releases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Must currently reside in the United States; no visa sponsorship or extensions provided.
• 8+ years of strong hands-on experience in Salesforce platform development.
• 2+ years of experience in technical leadership or engineering management.
• Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, LWC, and REST/SOAP API integrations.
• Experience with version control (Git) and modern CI/CD deployment approaches.

Nice to have

• Experience with Salesforce AppExchange products and security review processes.
• Knowledge of platform governance and Salesforce upgrade cycles.
• Background in the Energy, Utility, or climate industry, specifically with rebate processing software.
• Experience working in customer-facing or client-driven environments.
