What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of customer payrolls from start to finish.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of monthly payrolls.
• Calculate pay adjustments, including statutory payments and holiday pay.
• Maintain compliance with HMRC requirements, GDPR, and ISO27001 standards.
• Update payroll systems with current tax thresholds and pension rates.
• Report data accurately to external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK
• Degree level education or relevant payroll qualification.
• Proven experience in payroll processing.
• Solid understanding of HMRC requirements, Tax, NI, and statutory deductions.
• Experience with Auto Enrolment pension schemes.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and data analysis.

Nice to have

• Experience in the education sector.
• Knowledge of Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) or Teachers’ Pension Scheme (TPS).
