Payroll Administrator (Finance)

TL;DR

Payroll Administrator (Finance): Supporting the end-to-end payroll process to ensure accurate and timely payment of employees with an accent on compliance and statutory leave administration. Focus on processing monthly payrolls, managing P11D/P60s, and resolving complex payroll queries within SLAs.

Location: Hybrid (Bristol, UK). Expectation to be in the office at least once a week.

Salary: £26,000 - £30,000

What you will do

• Assist with timely and accurate processing of monthly payrolls, including starters, leavers, and variations.
• Manage the processing and distribution of P11D/P60s and leaver payslips/P45s.
• Perform manual calculations for statutory and enhanced leave (SAP, SPP, SMP, SSP, SHPP).
• Ensure compliance with NMW/NLW and handle all incoming HMRC notifications.
• Resolve payroll queries within set SLAs and support the wider Procure to Pay (P2P) function.
• Conduct post-payroll reporting and final checks prior to sign-off.

Requirements

• Proven experience in payroll administration and comprehensive knowledge of payroll legislation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Google Suite.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail for resolving complex queries.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders.
• Must be based in Bristol or able to commute to the Bristol hub.
• Unable to offer sponsorship for this role.
