What you will do

• Lead the local controllership function and the Principal Operating Company (POC) comprising over 30 country ledgers.
• Manage US GAAP and statutory accounting, including financial close processes, accruals, and consolidations.
• Oversee Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, intercompany transactions, and account reconciliations.
• Maintain the internal control framework and SOX documentation to ensure an effective control environment.
• Manage statutory reporting, tax accounting, and VAT reporting for Swiss legal entities.
• Collaborate with global Centers of Excellence and act as the primary contact for internal and external auditors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, ACCA, ACMA).
• Several years of professional experience in Accounting or Financial Controlling within an international organization.
• Fluency in English (C1) and either German or French (C1) is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and local statutory accounting requirements.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications.

• Experience in external audit or public accounting.
• Experience working within a Principal Operating Company (POC) model.
• Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
