What you will do

• Lead the local controllership function and manage more than 30 country ledgers.
• Ensure accurate US GAAP accounting, financial close processes, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Oversee Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, including invoice processing and travel and expense management.
• Manage statutory reporting, tax accounting, and audit processes for Swiss legal entities.
• Maintain the internal control framework and SOX documentation to ensure an effective control environment.
• Coordinate Finance activities between local Swiss market requirements and global/regional Finance organizations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Recognized accounting qualification such as CA, ACCA, or ACMA.
• Several years of professional experience in Accounting or Financial Controlling within an international organization.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss local GAAP and US GAAP.
• Fluency in English and either German or French (minimum C1 level) is mandatory.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications.

Nice to have

• Experience in external audit or public accounting.
• Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
• Experience working within a Principal Operating Company (POC) model.
