Junior Controller (Finance)

Junior Controller (Finance): Supporting global R&D financial reporting and budget forecasting with an accent on automation and data analysis. Focus on optimizing financial processes, leveraging Excel/VBA and SAP, and monitoring deal margins within the DACH region.

Location: Must be based in or able to work from Fernitz bei Graz, Austria (Hybrid role).

Salary: From €3,267 gross per month.

What you will do

• Automate global reporting for R&D Opex and Capex using Excel and VBA.
• Support the budget and forecast processes.
• Monitor deal margins and perform actuals vs. forecast analysis with a focus on the DACH region.
• Optimize financial systems, including the integration of AI tools and SAP.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses for local management.
• Assist with local audits and global controlling tasks.

Requirements

• German: Excellent proficiency required.
• English: Fluent business proficiency required.
• Financial training (University/FH or HAK) with a focus on controlling and accounting.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with reporting tools.
• Advanced Excel skills, with a strong preference for VBA knowledge.
• Proactive, independent, and communicative team player.

• Prior experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
