TL;DR

Senior Accountant (Web3): Managing core accounting operations and month-end close for a multi-entity organization with an accent on blockchain transactions and US GAAP compliance. Focus on scaling financial reporting, automating accounting systems, and ensuring adherence to ASC 606 and ASC 842 standards.

Location: On-site in New York City, NY. This role cannot be performed in California or Colorado.

What you will do

  • Lead and manage the month-end close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Support financial reporting across multiple entities, including consolidation, variance analysis, and audit preparation.
  • Drive improvements in accounting systems and integrations like QuickBooks, Stripe, and Ramp.
  • Conduct technical accounting research and process documentation for ASC 606 and ASC 842.
  • Calculate the financial impact of Blockchain transactions within the General Ledger.
  • Partner cross-functionally to improve billing operations and customer balance workflows.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of progressive accounting experience in fast-paced SaaS or tech environments.
  • Strong expertise in US GAAP and managing general ledger and close processes.
  • Deep understanding of ASC 606 and SaaS KPIs such as MRR, ARR, CAC, and LTV.
  • Proficiency with accounting systems including QuickBooks, Ramp, Deel, and Stripe.
  • Must be based in New York City, NY (On-site).

Nice to have

  • 2 years of experience in public accounting.
  • CPA certification.
  • Experience managing multi-entity accounting, international operations, or tax compliance.
