TL;DR

RF Test Engineer (Electronics): Performing lab RF measurements and debugging hardware for cellular radio building blocks with an accent on ATE testers and electrical schematics. Focus on troubleshooting hardware issues using spectrum analyzers, VNAs, and statistical analysis tools.

Location: San Diego, CA (Onsite)

What you will do

  • Set up and perform lab RF measurements and general lab testing.
  • Debug hardware issues by analyzing electrical schematics, diagrams, and layouts.
  • Perform testing, checkout, and troubleshooting functions based on written and verbal descriptions.
  • Operate ATE testers, specifically 93k and UFLEX, for hardware validation.
  • Analyze results using statistical tools such as Datapower, JMP, Sedana, and Excel.
  • Document work thoroughly and collaborate to meet product introduction schedules.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred) with a focus on Radio Frequency design and testing.
  • Strong functional knowledge of test equipment including power supplies, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power meters, and vector network analyzers.
  • Ability to understand electronic theory and circuit functions with minimal assistance.
  • Experience with ATE testers (93k and UFLEX are required).
  • Knowledge of programming languages, with a preference for C++ or VB.
  • Must be able to work onsite in San Diego, CA.

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience with advanced statistical analysis tools.
