Location: Must be based in the UK (Leeds, Chester, Edinburgh, Manchester, or Newport). Hybrid work style required (at least 40% of time in office).

Salary: £44,901 – £49,890

What you will do

  • Improve credit decisioning processes using advanced analytics and automated strategies.
  • Identify and implement AI-led credit innovation opportunities across consumer and business lending.
  • Produce management information to inform key strategic decisions.
  • Perform high-quality testing to ensure safe implementation of system changes.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to explain complex risk issues.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the UK and able to work from one of the specified office locations.
  • Strong numeracy skills with at least A-Level qualification.
  • Minimum 12 months of practical experience with analytical software and coding (SAS or SQL).
  • Understanding of credit risk and residual value risk management.
  • Effective communication skills for diverse audiences.

Nice to have

  • Experience with PowerBI.
  • Experience coaching junior team members.
  • Experience deputizing for management.
  • Background in both personal and business lending.
