What you will do

• Maintain and operate the firm’s VaR and risk systems to ensure accurate position and strategy capture.
• Monitor intraday trading exposures against risk limits and escalate potential breaches.
• Reconcile daily margin requirements and execute what-if scenarios to optimize capital usage.
• Produce daily P&L reports with clear attribution and trend analysis for traders and management.
• Run liquidity reserve models and apply reserves to provide realistic valuation figures.
• Conduct regular reviews with traders regarding risk positioning and stress test results.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience in risk or P&L at a prop trading firm, hedge fund, or futures clearing organization.
• Strong proficiency in Value at Risk (VaR) methodologies and risk system management.
• Hands-on experience with futures margining, FCM reconciliation, and margin optimization tools.
• Practical understanding of futures markets, listed options Greeks, and equity portfolio risk.
• Advanced Excel skills; Python or SQL experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
