What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of customers, ensuring accurate end-to-end payroll processing and reporting.
• Support and mentor team members, conducting performance reviews and identifying training needs.
• Update payroll systems with current tax thresholds, pension rates, and payscales.
• Handle complex payroll queries and resolve challenging customer situations.
• Apply company policies regarding staffing and payroll issues at a supervisory level.
• Collaborate with payroll leadership to drive process improvements and system development.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of local government pay and conditions.
