What you will do
- Process Council tax and recovery changes according to established procedures and KPIs.
- Handle direct customer communications via telephone, email, and letter to ensure service contractual requirements.
- Maintain high workload consistency in line with Right Time and Right Benefit Indicators.
- Coach and mentor junior colleagues and lead update sessions to share best practices.
- Stay updated on legislation, briefing notes, and bulletins through continuous learning.
Requirements
- Pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK.
- Working knowledge of Housing Benefits and Council Tax.
- Proven problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to deliver results under pressure with a flexible approach.
- IT competence and self-motivation.
