What you will do

• Lead the commercial function across multi-million-pound social housing and infrastructure programmes.
• Develop and embed commercial strategies to support business growth, margin improvement, and risk control.
• Oversee commercial reporting, cost management, CVR production, and budget control.
• Manage NEC, JCT, and bespoke contract forms while leading risk reviews and mitigation strategies.
• Act as a senior commercial representative with housing associations and local authorities.
• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Commercial Managers and Quantity Surveyors.

Requirements

• Must have proven experience as a Senior Commercial Manager or Head of Commercial.
• Strong track record within social housing, planned works, refurbishment, or property services.
• Expert knowledge of NEC, JCT, and public sector contracts.
• Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK.

Nice to have

• RICS accreditation or working toward it.
• Experience within infrastructure or wider public-sector frameworks.
