What you will do
- Conduct job evaluations and market pricing analyses using major compensation survey platforms.
- Benchmark roles across functions and levels to inform pay decisions.
- Develop and maintain salary structures, pay ranges, and job hierarchies.
- Analyze internal pay equity and identify trends or anomalies.
- Support compensation review cycles, including merit and bonus adjustments.
- Prepare and present compensation recommendations to HR Business Partners and leadership.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of compensation experience with expertise in market pricing and benchmarking.
- Proficiency in at least one major compensation survey platform (e.g., Radford/Aon, Mercer, WTW).
- Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data modeling.
- Solid understanding of job architecture, pay structures, and FLSA classification.
- Experience working in consulting, professional services, or multi-client environments.
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
Nice to have
- CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) or other relevant HR certification.
- Experience supporting pay equity analyses and total rewards program design.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms like Workday, UKG, or Paylocity.
- Experience with PE-backed, high-growth, or multi-state organizations.
