What you will do

• Design and implement a data quality framework across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers, including validation rules and alerting standards.
• Build and maintain automated data quality checks within Databricks pipelines (row counts, null checks, schema validation, etc.).
• Own the reconciliation process between source systems and Databricks layers to ensure data accuracy.
• Validate identity resolution outputs in the Silver layer and investigate false positives/negatives.
• Perform end-to-end pipeline testing from ingestion to the Gold layer and verify downstream reporting outputs.
• Partner with Data Engineers to define acceptance criteria and support UAT with business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Quality roles.
• Experience working with Azure-based data platforms and Databricks.
• Strong SQL skills and experience analyzing large datasets.
• Understanding of data quality frameworks and testing methodologies for ETL/ELT processes.
• English: Advanced proficiency (C1) required for communication with global teams.
• Location: Must be based in Santiago, Chile.
