What you will do
- Deploy and maintain fully automated data transformation pipelines across diverse storage and computation technologies.
- Understand business data use and stakeholder requirements to support work processes and strategic objectives.
- Acquire, cleanse, prepare, normalize, store, and ingest data from multiple sources.
- Develop data products aligned with defined architecture patterns and enable data scientists to use data for advanced analytics models.
- Work with ML Engineers to scale and deploy solutions, including models, documentation, training, and integration.
- Contribute to foundational tools and the deployment of technical services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- More than 5 years of experience in a Data Engineer role.
- Experience with data acquisition, preparation, validation, movement, transformation, big data computing, cloud computing, and data architecture.
- Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, Azure Analysis Services, Logic Apps, and Microsoft Data Flows.
- Experience with software engineering, DevOps, CI/CD pipeline deployment, Python, Java, Ansible, Git, and ADO.
- Analytical thinking, consulting, and critical-thinking skills.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of the Kimball Data Warehousing Methodology.
