Location: Hybrid; must be based in or be able to relocate to the US (Denver, Tualatin, Seattle, San Jose, Rancho Cordova, Las Vegas, or Walnut Creek). Relocation eligible.
Salary: $114,930.00 - $249,522.00 per year

What you will do
- Lead projects and tasks involving dams, spillways, intakes, outlets, and other hydropower and hydraulic structure improvements.
- Deliver innovative, high-quality design products, including plans, specifications, cost estimates, and technical analyses.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts across various disciplines to resolve technical concerns and deliver client solutions.
- Manage and mentor junior staff, reviewing lower-level engineering assignments to ensure quality.
- Perform site and client visits to advance project delivery and gather technical requirements.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of engineering work for projects of moderate to major scope.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program.
- Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in dam or hydraulic structures engineering.
- Active engineering registration or licensure (P.E. License) to support Engineer of Record (EOR) requirements.
- Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding, including criminal/civil background checks, drug screens, and motor vehicle records searches.
Nice to have
- Master's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Experience working with West Coast dams and hydropower clients.
- Familiarity with state and federal regulatory requirements for dams and hydropower.
