What you will do

• Plan and execute complex migration and upgrade projects across the application lifecycle.
• Provide SME support for modernization gaps and troubleshoot infrastructure issues across database, cloud, and middleware stacks.
• Design and develop automation tools to accelerate the modernization and migration process.
• Collaborate with global teams and partners to resolve production crises and remove technical blockers.
• Mentor new team members on technical and process-related aspects of modernization.
• Apply critical thinking to validate AI-generated outputs for production environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• 7-9 years of professional experience, including 3-5 years in consulting or a technical lead role.
• Proven ability to interact directly with customers at a technical level and manage expectations.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across J2EE architecture, databases (Oracle, Postgres), and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• CSSA certification is highly preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to maintain poise in pressurized situations.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of Pega Consulting experience.
• Knowledge of PCF, WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat, or JBOSS.
• Experience with JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and communication protocols like SOAP, MQ, or JMS.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
