What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications for drone navigation and control.
• Integrate DJI Mobile SDK and similar SDKs to ensure reliable flight and mission control.
• Collaborate closely with software and operations teams to align technical implementation.
• Provide direct technical support to drone pilots during field operations.
• Drive the product from initial concept through the entire software development lifecycle to customer release.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in Android development.
• University degree in Engineering or a similar technical field.
• Hands-on experience with DJI Mobile SDK or comparable drone control SDKs.
• Strong understanding of geospatial reasoning and spatial data.
• Must be based in Glasgow or Kings Langley, UK.
• English: Fluent (C1).

Nice to have

• Experience with navigation and control of drones other than DJI.
• Programming experience with C#/.NET.
• Proficiency in German.
