Android Software Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain modern Android applications for banking services, payments, cards, and cryptocurrency products.
• Own technical topics end to end, from requirements clarification and solution design through implementation and production follow-up.
• Contribute to the architecture and evolution of mobile systems, improving scalability, reliability, maintainability, and production readiness.
• Build performant and accessible UI components with Jetpack Compose and implement reactive asynchronous flows with Kotlin Coroutines and Flows.
• Review technical solutions, collaborate with engineers, product stakeholders, and designers, and support production releases.
• Improve automated testing, documentation, engineering practices, and mentor less experienced engineers.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience developing Android applications, preferably in Kotlin-based environments.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin, Coroutines, Flows, Jetpack Compose, Clean Architecture, dependency injection, modular project structures, and Gradle.
• Experience with automated unit and end-to-end testing and the ability to safely modify complex or legacy Android codebases.
• Strong focus on code quality, maintainability, architectural consistency, and long-term evolvability.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Enthusiasm for adopting AI in the development workflow.

Nice to have

• Experience with consumer-facing, high-traffic, or business-critical mobile products.
• Knowledge of MVVM, MVI, unidirectional data flow, Room, Retrofit, Firebase, analytics, crash reporting, and production diagnostics.
• Experience with cross-functional agile teams and hands-on use of agentic models or AI-assisted development tools.
