Senior Android Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid, two days per week in the London office

What you will do

• Design and implement complex Android features for the seller experience.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers.
• Develop and evolve the in-house server-driven UI framework for dynamic feature delivery without app releases.
• Build and maintain mobile infrastructure, including CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and automated UI testing.
• Champion mobile engineering best practices and analyse UI and overall app quality.
• Build an understanding of the backend systems supporting the application.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Android development and current mobile platform frameworks.
• Proficiency with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Experience building and delivering successful products from scratch.
• Ability to ship impactful, high-scale mobile applications.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with ownership and initiative.

Nice to have

• Experience building complex reusable modules.
• Experience integrating modern ML/AI technology into app journeys.
• Practical experience with server-driven UI, A/B testing, or full-stack development.
