What you will do

• Oversee and provide technical guidance for the production of 3D and 2D engineering drawings.
• Develop and deliver training programs for engineering resources in CAD design deliverables.
• Manage and standardize common working methods to improve CAD production efficiency.
• Implement and monitor CAD quality control and checking processes across the team.
• Stay current with technical quality management procedures and industry specifications.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Darlington, UK
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a CAD role delivering construction engineering projects.
• Proficiency in CAD packages including AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
• Minimum NVQ level 4 or HNC in a relevant CAD subject.
• GCSE pass (C or higher) in Mathematics and English.
• Fluent spoken and written English language required.

Nice to have

• Experience in planning CAD design delivery budgets and resource execution.
• Ability to track and report on CAD production progress.
• Experience working with remote resources.
