Location: Remote (Must be a Filipino accountant based in Metro Manila, Philippines)

What you will do

  • Manage a portfolio of Australian SME clients, ensuring accurate and compliant BAS & IAS lodgments.
  • Maintain clean, reconciled financial records and deliver reliable monthly management reporting.
  • Provide clear financial insights and act as the primary accounting partner for clients.
  • Collaborate closely with Australian tax professionals to ensure compliance.
  • Take full ownership of the client portfolio, moving beyond pure compliance to an advisory role.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in an Australian accounting firm.
  • Strong expertise in BAS, GST, and AU compliance.
  • Advanced proficiency with Xero.
  • Proven experience managing Australian SME clients end-to-end.
  • Confident verbal and written English communication skills for direct client interaction.
  • Must be a Filipino national/resident.

  • Ability to review work and provide deep financial insights (specifically for senior applicants).
  • Strong commercial mindset and ability to think beyond technical accounting.
