What you will do

• Provide strategic oversight to maintain alignment of project milestones with daily activities.
• Serve as the operational hub for CMC project teams, driving communication and accountability.
• Manage project financials, including budget development, actuals tracking, and financial reporting.
• Facilitate communications with internal and external stakeholders, including CDMO partners.
• Drive project activities across cross-functional teams including Quality, Regulatory, and Supply Chain.
• Proactively manage strategic risks and implement mitigation activities.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry with at least 5 years in project management.
• BS, MS, or PhD in a scientific or engineering discipline (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical/Biomedical Engineering, or Pharmaceutical Sciences).
• Experience working with CDMOs to support outsourced development and manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Planisware for project planning and tracking.
• Fluent and articulate communication in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to engage in technical and scientific discussions regarding CMC development.

Nice to have

• Comprehensive understanding of small molecule, biologics, or vaccine formulation and GMP manufacturing.
• Formal project management certification (e.g., PMP).
• Strong understanding of cGXP guidelines and regulatory requirements.
