TL;DR
Business Development Lead (Ecommerce): Finding and closing high-revenue ecommerce founders into the MDS membership community with an accent on prospecting, relationship building, and high-ticket closing. Focus on generating a consistent pipeline through industry events, social outreach, and strategic discovery calls.
Location: Remote (Global). Must be aligned with Eastern Time for core hours (10:00 AM – 3:00 PM EST).
Salary: Base + uncapped commission, strong performers earn $10,000–$15,000/month.

What you will do
- Source and identify qualified prospects via events, social outreach, and referrals in the Amazon, DTC, and Shopify spaces.
- Run personalized outbound campaigns to move high-potential founders from awareness to conversation.
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle, including conducting discovery calls, handling objections, and closing applications.
- Represent MDS at major industry tradeshows (e.g., Amazon Accelerate, Prosper Show) as a relationship-builder.
- Manage pipeline data and conversion metrics using Go High Level (CRM).
- Develop a personal brand within the ecommerce ecosystem to attract qualified leads organically.
Requirements
- 3+ years in sales or business development with a proven track record of hitting individual targets.
- Direct ecommerce experience (running a brand or working in SaaS/3PL/Agency) with deep knowledge of Amazon, Shopify, and TikTok Shop.
- Demonstrated experience closing high-ticket B2B deals or memberships.
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools, specifically Go High Level.
- Ability to travel regularly to industry events and tradeshows.
- Strict alignment with Eastern Time core hours (10:00 AM – 3:00 PM EST).

- Existing network within the Amazon, Shopify, or TikTok Shop seller community.
- Personal experience as an ecommerce seller or brand operator.
- Existing personal brand or social presence in the ecommerce space.
- Experience with high-ticket masterminds or membership communities.
