TL;DR
Business Development Representative (Sales): Outreach to target accounts and inbound/marketing qualified leads to gather sales intelligence and handle early-stage opportunities with an accent on lead qualification, appointment setting, and CRM accuracy. Focus on building prospect cadences with sales automation and coordinating discovery calls with the sales team.
Location: Remote based in the US (located in the Kansas City Metro area)
Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 annually

What you will do
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound and inbound prospecting.
- Meet monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation and appointment setting.
- Run sales development outreach using email, phone, and social drips with sales automation to build prospect cadences.
- Qualify prospects and schedule appointments for the team’s discovery calls.
- Research accounts and prospects, add contacts to Salesforce, and maintain accurate CRM records.
- Support sales and marketing campaigns and assist with sales materials and presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to achieve goals and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn sales fundamentals and customer service practices.
- Ability to travel 10-15%.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with CRM software.
- Experience with Outreach, LinkedIn, Demand Base, and Marketo.
