TL;DR

Master Data & Governance Lead (Manufacturing): Overseeing master data management and governance to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance throughout the organization with an accent on establishing data standards and best practices. Focus on managing the master data lifecycle and aligning data management with organizational goals across IT, Finance, and Supply Chain.

Location: Hybrid (Uddingston or Glenbervie, UK). Must have the right to work in the UK

What you will do

  • Lead the development and implementation of master data management strategies and governance frameworks.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across all business-critical systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of master data, including creation, maintenance, and archiving.
  • Monitor compliance with data governance policies and drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide training and support to staff on data governance best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in master data management and data governance, preferably within manufacturing or FMCG sectors.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience with ERP systems and data integration tools; knowledge of IFS is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving.
  • Ability to develop and enforce data governance policies and standards.
  • Legally required to have the right to work in the UK
