What you will do

• Engineer, deploy, and troubleshoot NEPSF infrastructure for high-profile live productions.
• Manage and maintain encoding solutions and live streaming services to ensure maximum reliability for on-air environments.
• Work with IP communications systems including Unity, Green Go, and RTS, as well as ST 2110 infrastructure.
• Automate deployments and data collection using AWS, Harmonics, Net Insight, and LiveU.
• Collaborate with production teams to standardize large-scale streaming technologies and best practices.
• Provide after-hours on-call support and maintenance for critical broadcast systems.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of streaming media protocols such as HLS, DASH, CMAF, and RTMP.
• Experience developing and deploying media streaming services in the cloud.
• Proficiency with media codecs and container protocols including MPEG-2, H.264/AVC, AAC, MP4, and TS.
• Strong understanding of CDN architectures, including caches, origin servers, and proxies.
• Knowledge of Closed Captioning standards, DRM, and related technologies.
• Schedule flexibility for late nights, weekends, and holidays (weekends required).
