TL;DR
Data Quality Analyst (AI): Monitoring and improving data quality across critical data domains to ensure AI readiness and regulatory compliance with an accent on AI-assisted DQ techniques and MR 5f governance. Focus on implementing automated profiling, anomaly detection, and root cause analysis to support responsible AI adoption.
Location: Hybrid (three days per week in-person presence required) in Canada
Salary: 65,000 – 90,000 CAD

What you will do
- Implement and operate data quality controls including profiling, validation, and reconciliation based on governance standards.
- Measure data quality dimensions (accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness) and produce KPIs for MR 5f reporting.
- Apply AI-assisted capabilities like automated profiling and anomaly detection to improve risk detection efficiency.
- Assess data readiness for AI use cases, identifying issues related to bias, semantic clarity, and completeness.
- Document and track data quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and manage remediation status.
- Maintain operational metadata and data lineage to improve discoverability and trust for AI consumption.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in data quality, data governance, analytics, or data management.
- Must be able to work in a hybrid model (3 days in-office) within Canada.
Nice to have
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills for large, complex datasets.
- Experience with automated data quality tools and anomaly detection.
- Understanding of data preparation specifically for AI and advanced analytics.
- Familiarity with data catalog practices and metadata management.
