Guidewire Lead (Guidewire)

What you will do

• Lead the design, configuration, customization, implementation, upgrade, and deployment of Guidewire InsuranceSuite modules, including PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.
• Provide technical direction, architectural guidance, and escalation support for complex Guidewire issues throughout the SDLC.
• Lead integrations with rating engines, policy administration platforms, claims systems, document management systems, and enterprise services.
• Implement and enhance messaging, SOAP/REST web services, batch processes, authentication, and data model updates.
• Mentor development teams, coordinate onshore and offshore activities, and collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, QA, and client teams.
• Support estimation, work-package definition, planning, delivery, release management, testing, documentation, and quality validation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience with strong Guidewire InsuranceSuite expertise.
• Hands-on experience implementing and upgrading PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.
• Strong Java, API development, integration framework, and insurance-domain experience.
• Experience leading technical teams and managing cross-functional project stakeholders.
• Strong English communication skills required.
• Residence in Mexico City, the State of Mexico, or Guadalajara required.

Nice to have

• Guidewire certifications, including ClaimCenter Configuration, PolicyCenter Configuration, or integration certifications.
• Experience with AWS, third-party rating engines, and external policy or claims systems.
• Consulting or enterprise-level multi-system implementation experience.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern development practices.
• Spanish bilingual ability.
