TL;DR

Senior Solutions Engineer, Sales (SaaS): Driving the go-to-market strategy by bridging the gap between client requirements and product capabilities with an accent on pre-sales technical guidance and solution architecture. Focus on delivering tailored demonstrations, managing RFP/RFI responses, and designing customized adoption plans to ensure ROI for customers in the KBF industries.

Location: Must be based in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and be able to travel for onsite engagements.

What you will do

  • Conduct discovery conversations to identify business needs and technical requirements of prospects.
  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations on software architecture during the pre-sales process.
  • Deliver high-impact product demonstrations to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Professional Services to craft tailored adoption plans and proposal responses (RFP/RFI).
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to decision-makers, articulating the value proposition and ROI of SaaS solutions.
  • Mentor new team members and provide feedback on product roadmaps.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a solutions engineer, consultant, or in a similar pre-sales role.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting SaaS software solutions across various industries.
  • 5+ years of industry experience in retail, manufacturing, or design, specifically within KBF (Kitchen, Bath, Furniture) sectors.
  • Ability to travel for onsite consulting engagements as needed.
  • Strong communication skills to interface between diverse stakeholders and technical teams.
