Location: Hybrid (Worcester, UK) - 2-3 days in the office
Salary: £48,000 - £58,000

What you will do
- Deliver high-quality technical training on audio and TV fundamentals, IP networking, and studio/gallery operations.
- Prepare, set up, and maintain training facilities and broadcast equipment to ensure high standards.
- Support learners through guidance and feedback to help them build technical confidence and capability.
- Contribute to the maintenance and configuration of the technical infrastructure at the Wood Norton site.
- Collaborate with the Academy Delivery Team to keep course content current and aligned with requirements.
- Integrate industry developments into training materials to reflect modern broadcast practices.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Audio Engineering (sound, microphones, mixers) and Video Engineering (cameras, signals, HD/UHD).
- Strong understanding of Ethernet/IP networks, protocols, and practical systems such as Cisco and MikroTik.
- Knowledge of PTP, network timing, and the use of Wireshark for decoding network packets.
- Experience managing changes using a recognized ITSM tool.
- Must be based in or able to work in Worcester, UK (Hybrid: 2-3 days in office).
Nice to have
- Experience with Audio over IP and Video over IP (SMPTE 2022 and 2110 standards, Dante, Livewire).
- Familiarity with Broadcasting Systems, BNCS, and broadcast production environments.
- Proven experience in technical training, coaching, or mentoring.
- Ability to create or adapt learning materials to meet specific training objectives.
