Sr. Solutions Architect (Data Center & Cloud)

TL;DR

Senior Solutions Architect (Data Center & Cloud): Designing and implementing data center and cloud infrastructure solutions for key accounts with an accent on storage, virtualization, and SDDC. Focus on consultative selling, creating high-level architectural designs, and developing detailed Statements of Work (SoWs).

Location: Must be based in the New York or New Jersey area (Offices in Hauppauge, Morristown, Glastonbury)

What you will do

• Provide deep technical expertise to key account teams to drive services sales in data center and cloud domains.
• Collaborate with services teams (PS, MS, NFS, PMO, OSS) to align pre-sales approaches with project execution.
• Develop critical pre-sales materials, including Bill of Materials (BoMs), Statements of Work (SoWs), and design diagrams.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, proposing managed services and consulting offerings to solve business challenges.
• Gather complex customer requirements and translate them into high-level solution architectures.
• Maintain long-term lifecycle strategy relationships with clients to ensure successful infrastructure transformation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional/military experience.
• 7+ years of experience demonstrating expertise in storage, virtualization, compute, converged, and cloud technologies.
• Must be located in the New York or New Jersey area.
• Proven experience working with OEM manufacturers or IT Solution providers/VARs.
• Technical proficiency in SDDC technologies: Dell EMC storage/backup, Pure Storage, VMware ESXi/vCenter/NSX, and Nutanix Acropolis.
