What you will do

• Develop comprehensive cloud migration strategies and transformation plans based on business and technical requirements.
• Design scalable and performant cloud architectures using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Lead the execution of migration processes (rehosting, re-platforming, re-architecting) while minimizing business disruption.
• Implement security best practices and maintain compliance with standards such as PCI, SOC2, NIST, and GDPR.
• Optimize cloud workloads post-migration for cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
• Collaborate with business leaders, DevOps, and security teams to align goals and provide technical guidance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional/military experience.
• 5+ years of experience in the IT industry.
• 3+ years of specialized Cloud Migration experience.
• Proficiency and certification in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and virtualization solutions (e.g., VMware vSphere, MS Hyper-V).
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• 5+ years in technology consulting, preferably with a Big Four firm.
• Advanced technology certifications relevant to cloud architecture.
