Salary: $130,000 – $170,000

What you will do

• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to engage local elected officials, community leaders, and grassroots organizations.
• Represent the company externally by speaking at city council meetings and providing formal testimony.
• Build credibility across diverse stakeholder audiences to advance strategic policy objectives.
• Develop and maintain meaningful partnerships with influential community groups.
• Elevate the voices of customers and beneficiaries to support public safety priorities.

Requirements

• Direct experience engaging with public affairs audiences at the local executive level (mayors, council members, city managers).
• Sophisticated understanding of the regional political landscape at the city and county level.
• Ability to work in a bipartisan landscape and think creatively about political coalition building.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting complex topics to both experts and laypeople.
• Degree in public policy, business, or other relevant professional experience.
• Ability to travel on short notice and willingness to work long hours as required by city council schedules.
