What you will do

• Plan and execute communications strategies to enhance organizational visibility and reputation.
• Partner with senior leaders and external stakeholders to drive brand engagement and awareness.
• Manage media relations and cultivate messaging across social media platforms.
• Develop executive-level communication materials, including briefings and positioning statements.
• Collaborate with marketing and business development to ensure consistency in messaging.
• Foster connectivity and clarity across a globally distributed workforce.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in PR or communications.
• Experience in national security, defense, or government contracting sectors.
• Proven success executing proactive communications strategies in large, complex organizations.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid capacity in McLean, VA.

Nice to have

• Experience in crisis communications management.
• Prior experience supporting DoW or federal IT modernization programs.
• Familiarity with internal communications and employee engagement initiatives.
• Ability to develop digital media content such as videos and interactive content.
