Salary: $147,760 - $240,110

What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of engineering specialists focused on AI-enabled engineering and validation transformation.
• Direct the development and deployment of AI-assisted solutions for code generation, review, defect detection, and SDLC optimization.
• Implement analytics automation utilizing GenAI and Agentic AI to improve productivity and cycle time.
• Identify high-impact opportunities for AI-driven automation and lead the transition from pilots to enterprise-wide adoption.
• Collaborate with engineering leaders and stakeholders to align AI initiatives with business goals and communicate risks to senior leadership.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or engineering tools, with hands-on AI/ML application experience.
• 3+ years of experience in team leadership or supervisory roles.
• Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, CI/CD, and validation processes.
• Experience in vehicle/site connectivity and large dataset management.
• Must be based in Peoria, Illinois, USA.
• Visa sponsorship is NOT available for this position.

Nice to have

• Experience leading AI transformation initiatives in validation, quality, or engineering domains.
• Familiarity with functional safety standards such as ISO 26262 and IEC 61508.
• Background in digital transformation and enterprise-scale implementations.
