TL;DR

Associate Test Engineer (Manufacturing): Supporting production test for switching, routing, wireless, and cloud appliance products with an accent on developing and sustaining functional and system-level test stations. Focus on debugging test failures on the production floor and contributing to yield and quality improvements.

Location: Must be based in Texas, United States. Hybrid office environment with regular time on the production floor and in the test lab.

What you will do

• Develop, bring-up, and qualify production test fixtures and stations (ICT, FCT, SLT).
• Write and maintain test scripts and station code using Python, LabVIEW, or TestStand.
• Debug failing units on the production line using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and network tools.
• Analyze production test data to identify yield issues and recurring failure modes.
• Participate in NPI builds (EVT/DVT/PVT) and document issues for resolution.
• Support fixture deployment to global ODM sites and perform remote troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 0–2 years of experience in test, hardware, or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of digital and analog electronics fundamentals (I2C/SPI/UART).
• Programming proficiency in Python, C/C++, LabVIEW, or TestStand.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment like oscilloscopes and multimeters.
• Must be based in the US (Texas) for hybrid on-site work.

Nice to have

• Experience with networking protocols (Ethernet, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi).
• Exposure to JTAG, boundary scan, or system-level test concepts.
• Familiarity with Git, Linux command line, and data analytics (Pandas, Power BI).
• Awareness of Lean / Six Sigma and structured problem solving (8D, 5-Why).
