What you will do

• Design front-end RF signal-chain circuits, filters, amplifiers, and impedance matching networks for space vehicle communication.
• Develop stable, low-phase noise oscillators and RF digitizer circuits using multi-GSPS ADC/DAC components.
• Integrate front-end RF circuits and oscillators with FPGA-based DSP functions.
• Perform 3D EM field modeling and verify design performance through systematic laboratory measurements.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for RF hardware and provide guidance to less experienced engineers.
• Collaborate with project teams and customers to establish technical requirements and perform system trade studies.

Requirements

• BSEE or equivalent degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant RF experience.
• US Citizenship Required.
• Proficiency in schematic capture (Siemens Xpedition preferred) and EDA tools (Cadence, AWR Microwave Office, or Keysight ADS).
• Experience with 3D EM field modeling using CAD tools such as Ansys SIwave and HFSS.
• Skills in RF verification using multi-GHz VNAs, Spectrum Analyzers, and Phase Noise Analyzers.
• Strong understanding of RF circuit theory, transmission line propagation, and digital RF sampling.
