TL;DR

Marketing Analytics Lead (SaaS): Leading analytics for retention and product marketing to drive user growth and retention with an accent on measurement frameworks and behavioral insights. Focus on designing A/B tests, LTV modeling, and churn prediction to optimize the user lifecycle.

Location: Hybrid (at least 3 days per week on-site in San Francisco or New York)

Salary: $205,000 – $227,000 base + Equity

What you will do

  • Own the analytics strategy for retention and product marketing, including KPI definition and measurement frameworks.
  • Design and evaluate A/B tests across email, push, and in-app channels to ensure rigorous incrementality measurement.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting infrastructure for real-time visibility into retention health and campaign performance.
  • Develop behavioral insights using cohort analysis, LTV modeling, and churn prediction to identify at-risk and high-value audiences.
  • Collaborate with Growth Marketing and Finance on forecasting and aligning priorities with company OKRs.
  • Partner with Product Analytics to improve data instrumentation and align shared metrics for the product roadmap.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics or data science supporting growth marketing, specifically in retention or lifecycle analytics.
  • Fluency in subscription and consumer app metrics such as Churn, LTV, and DAU/MAU.
  • Deep expertise in experimentation methodology, including hypothesis testing and program-level holdouts.
  • Strong SQL proficiency and experience designing scalable ETL workflows.
  • Proficiency in Python to improve internal processes and tools.
  • Must be based in or able to work from the San Francisco or New York office (3 days/week).

Nice to have

  • Experience with marketing measurement (MMM, MTA) or attribution platforms like Amplitude, Branch, or AppsFlyer.
