Quality Assurance Manager (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of the full QMS for the Chilliwack facility.
• Align processes with FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP, and regulatory requirements (CFIA, FDA).
• Develop and maintain HACCP plans and prerequisite programs (PRPs) for solid and liquid premix operations.
• Manage non-conformance processes, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Own the design, implementation, and governance of the document management system.
• Oversee compliance related to labeling, allergen declaration, and sanitation standards.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of QA leadership experience in food, nutraceutical, or premix manufacturing.
• Strong expertise in FSMA, GMP, HACCP, and GFSI standards (including CFIA and Fraser Health).
• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or Nutritional Science.
• Certification as a HACCP / Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI).
• Auditor certification for FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, ISO 9001, SQF, or BRC.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Chilliwack, Canada; valid Class 5 Driver’s license required.

Nice to have

• Experience with greenfield setup and QMS development in new facilities.
• Certification in FSMA / HARPC compliance.
• Training in Document Management Systems / Quality Systems.
