What you will do

• Lead global hardware IP initiatives and set the strategic direction for the IP portfolio.
• Develop scalable internal and external processes to protect hardware IP in collaboration with outside counsel.
• Create and maintain internal hardware IP policies and programs.
• Advise on strategic hardware IP deals and complex technology transactions.
• Provide legal guidance on patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and open source issues.
• Build internal AI expertise and tools to facilitate legal team workflows.

Requirements

• 10+ years of combined hardware IP experience at innovative technology companies and law firms.
• JD and license or qualification to practice in California (CA).
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to demonstrate sound judgment in ambiguous situations.
