What you will do

• Partner with product teams across the full lifecycle, from conception and MVP definition to commercial release and end-of-life.
• Provide pragmatic advice on open source, privacy by design, data inventory, and intellectual property protection.
• Structure and draft product-specific terms, SDK licenses, API specifications, and product policies.
• Collaborate with Finance on revenue recognition, COGS, and financial issues related to SaaS and hardware.
• Negotiate technology transactions, including OEM relationships, strategic alliances, and software-as-a-service agreements.
• Develop legal frameworks for planned and unplanned feature and product deprecation.

Requirements

• JD and membership in good standing of at least one state bar in the US.
• 12-15 or more years of legal experience in a major law firm or in-house supporting product legal and technology transactions.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
• Flexibility in working hours to support a global enterprise.
