• Partner with researchers to scope data needs, define success criteria, and translate priorities into execution plans.
• Identify, evaluate, and advance high-impact data opportunities by balancing research value and feasibility.
• Build lightweight systems, dashboards, and tooling using SQL and Python to track performance and quality.
• Collaborate with engineers to enhance data platforms and ensure security best practices.
• Equip vendors and internal teams with standards and operating rhythms to scale data acquisition impact.

Requirements

• Proficiency in SQL and Python for analyzing datasets and generating actionable insights.
• Experience using APIs, automation, and AI tools to accelerate workflows and remove manual overhead.
• Ability to move fluidly between research context, commercial execution, and data operations.
• Experience sourcing, evaluating, or working with startups, founders, and vendors.
• Must be based in San Francisco, CA.
