TL;DR

Location: Remote technical support with mandatory travel to Kansas City, Charlotte, Atlanta, or Dallas once a month

What you will do

  • Provide first-contact remote technical support via phone, email, and chat in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Perform initial triage and troubleshooting for single-user and system-impacting incidents.
  • Analyze workstation-level incidents to identify root causes and apply effective troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Manage daily prioritization, coding, and routing of service incidents and requests using internal tools.
  • Document diverse client computing environments to determine the most efficient paths to resolution.
  • Collaborate with and escalate complex issues to senior engineers when necessary.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of IT support experience in a help desk or service desk environment.
  • Proficiency in supporting Windows 10/11, macOS fundamentals, and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive).
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory/Entra, mobile device configuration, and workstation hardware.
  • Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) and RMM platforms (e.g., Kaseya, Ninja).
  • Ability to travel to Kansas City, Charlotte, Atlanta, or Dallas once a month and participate in on-call rotations.

Nice to have

  • Experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
  • Certifications: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900), or ITIL Foundation (v4).
