TL;DR

IT Engineer (Infrastructure): Managing and optimizing global IT infrastructure, identity and access management, and network security with an accent on scalability and automation. Salary: $90,000 – $150,000 per year

What you will do

• Administer and improve IAM systems, including Okta authentication policies, device trust, and user lifecycle automation.
• Manage global office network infrastructure using Meraki and Palo Alto to ensure secure wireless and VPN connectivity.
• Oversee the device management platform to ensure consistent configurations and policies across the device lifecycle.
• Build monitoring and alerting coverage for critical IT systems, including identity, devices, network, and core SaaS.
• Manage infrastructure-as-code and develop disaster recovery plans and runbooks.
• Lead the IT roadmap and provide high-quality technical support for systemic improvements.

Requirements

• 4–6+ years of experience in IT engineering, system administration, and network management.
• Proficiency in macOS, Windows, and Linux.
• Solid understanding of IAM principles (SSO, SCIM, MFA) and enterprise endpoint security.
• Strong networking fundamentals, including enterprise Wi-Fi, VPN, and hardware protocols.
• Experience with scripting, automation, and AI tools.
• Must be located in Somerville, MA.

Nice to have

• Experience in high-growth startups.
• Familiarity with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and Infrastructure-as-code.
• Compliance experience with SOC2, NIS2, or similar standards.
• Relevant certifications in networking, security, or cloud.
