What you will do

• Prepare electrical drawings for power generation engineering projects in accordance with corporate standards.
• Create and update single lines, wiring diagrams, and plan drawings for electrical construction packages.
• Provide general electrical design support, including equipment, cable, and raceway support.
• Maintain supplemental project documentation such as cable schedules and vendor cut sheets.
• Coordinate and perform fieldwork and site visits as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and personal safety practices at all times.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of drafting principles.
• Proficiency in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
• Experience with drawing and document management systems (ProjectWise and Documentum preferred).
• High School diploma or GED (required); Associate degree in Drafting (preferred).
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Richmond, VA.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective team collaboration.
