What you will do

• Lead a squad of software and AI engineers, managing performance and providing direct mentorship.
• Translate AI requirements into scalable technical architectures and provide high-level architectural guidance.
• Collaborate with the Product team to define, prioritize, and execute the technical roadmap.
• Track and optimize KPIs/OKRs related to usability, conversion funnels, and retention.
• Manage career development and motivation through regular 1:1s and people management initiatives.
• Optimize development processes using AI tools for coding and create comprehensive technical documentation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in team management with direct reports in a fast-paced tech environment.
• Strong delivery-oriented mindset and ability to coordinate teams for tangible business results.
• Expertise in system design and complex problem-solving.
• English: Advanced/Fluent (C1) required.
• Spanish and/or Portuguese: Advanced/Fluent (C1) required.

Nice to have

• Experience working in startup environments.
• Familiarity with Python, Flask/FastAPI, Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Experience with AI tools like OpenAI API, Gemini, and Langfuse.
